Customer-Owned Item Engraving Policy
Thank you for choosing Midwestern Laser Art LLC. We take great pride in providing high-quality engraving services, including work on items provided by our customers. To ensure a smooth, transparent, and professional experience, please carefully review and acknowledge the following policy before submitting any items for engraving.
1. Customer Responsibility
- Material type
- Dimensions
- Any unique characteristics (e.g., coatings, irregular shapes, or pre-existing damage)
Midwestern Laser Art LLC is not liable for any damage caused by unknown material inconsistencies, pre-existing flaws, or defects in customer-provided items.
2. Item Inspection & Compatibility
All items are inspected upon arrival to determine compatibility with our equipment and engraving processes. If an item is deemed unsuitable for engraving due to material, condition, or other factors, we will notify the customer. In such cases, the item will be returned without charge.
3. Liability Disclaimer
- Engraving errors cannot be reversed once production begins
- Midwestern Laser Art LLC is not responsible for any damage to or loss of the item
- The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the item meets engraving requirements
4. Design & Proof Approval
- Customers are required to review and approve all artwork, design files, and engraving details before production
- Once approved, no changes can be made
- Midwestern Laser Art LLC is not responsible for errors in customer-submitted text, designs, or instructions
5. Fees, Payment & Shipping
- Pricing is based on design complexity, material type, and engraving time
- Full payment is required prior to the start of engraving
- All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the customer
- All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns are accepted under any circumstances
6. Pickup & Storage
- Customers will be notified when engraving is complete and the item is ready for pickup or shipment
- Items must be picked up within 30 days of completion
- Items not claimed within 60 days may be considered abandoned and may be discarded at our discretion
7. Acknowledgment of Terms
By submitting an item for engraving, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms listed in this policy.
